Key Features

Trim Router Table Top Turns a trim router setup into a more controlled tabletop routing station, which helps with small profile work, edge treatment, and repeatable detail cuts. Dock & Go Format Built around Kreg's Dock & Go concept, this format is aimed at users who want a compact routing setup that is easier to position and use than a full-size router table. Better Small-Part Control A tabletop routing setup makes it easier to guide material across the work surface instead of balancing the router on the workpiece, which can improve consistency on detail work.

Overview

The Kreg Dock & Go Trim Router Table Top (KRTRT100) is a trim router table top for users who want more control from a compact router setup. This is a trim router table top designed for tabletop routing, edge profiling, and small-part detail work. If you already like using a trim router for light routing tasks but want cleaner guidance and a steadier working position, this setup makes that kind of work more manageable.

What matters here is the format. A trim router is great for portability, but hand-held routing can get awkward when you are working on smaller pieces, narrow edges, or repeat passes. A table top layout changes that by letting you move the material across the surface instead of moving the router over the material. For a lot of woodworkers and finish carpenters, that means better control, more confidence on detail cuts, and less fighting the tool on delicate work.

The Kreg Dock & Go Trim Router Table Top is built around compact-shop and jobsite-friendly use. It is not trying to replace a full-size router table for heavy stock removal or large production work. It fills a different role: quick setup, smaller footprint, and easier handling for trim router tasks where convenience and control matter more than sheer size. That makes it a practical fit for hobby shops, benchtop workstations, and pros who need a lighter routing setup for targeted jobs.

From a workflow standpoint, a trim router table top is especially useful when you are cutting edge profiles, easing corners, or doing light detail routing where consistency matters. Being able to present the workpiece to the bit in a stable tabletop position can help you produce cleaner, more repeatable results than freehand use alone. That is the real value here. It is less about adding raw power and more about making the router you already use easier to control for the kind of work trim routers handle well.

Kreg is well known for building practical woodworking solutions, and this product fits that approach. The Dock & Go Trim Router Table Top is aimed at users who want a more organized, purpose-built routing station without jumping straight to a large dedicated table. If your work leans toward cabinetry details, shop projects, edge work, or general woodworking with a trim router, this is the kind of accessory that can make that tool more useful day to day.

Who should buy it? This makes the most sense for woodworkers, remodelers, finish carpenters, and serious DIY users who already understand where a trim router shines and want better tabletop control for those jobs. If you need a compact routing platform rather than a big permanent setup, the Kreg Dock & Go Trim Router Table Top is the right kind of product to look at.
