Overview

Knipex 9K 98 98 32 US 5 Pc Screwdriver Set-1000V Insulated is a 5-piece insulated screwdriver set built for electricians, maintenance techs, and anyone who needs proper insulated hand tools for fastening work. This is an insulated screwdriver set designed for electrical fastening and service work. Model Number: 9K 98 98 32 US.

This set gives you five of the most useful drivers in one package: three slotted sizes and two Phillips sizes. The included range covers a 3/32 in. slotted, 5/32 in. slotted, 7/32 in. slotted, Phillips #1, and Phillips #2, which makes this a practical everyday set for panel work, device installation, controls, and general electrical service.

What matters here is not just the tip assortment. Knipex builds these with 1000-volt insulation and VDE testing, which is what separates a real insulated screwdriver set from a standard red-handle driver. If you work around electrical systems, that rating is the reason this set belongs in the bag instead of a general-purpose set.

The handles are multi-component and shaped for a secure grip when you need steady hand force. Knipex also uses a handle design that helps prevent rolling, which sounds minor until you are working off a ladder, on top of a panel, or in a mechanical room where dropped tools waste time. The integrated hang hole gives you another easy storage option on a pegboard or service cart.

For the actual working end, the blades are made from chrome vanadium molybdenum steel. That matters because insulated screwdrivers still need to hold up to repeated fastening work without feeling soft or vague at the tip. You want insulation, but you also want a driver that feels solid in the screw head and transfers force cleanly.

At just over 1 lb, this 5-piece Knipex screwdriver set is easy to keep in a service bag without adding much bulk. It is a straightforward set aimed at the core sizes most electrical trades actually use, not a bloated assortment that spends half its life sitting untouched in the drawer.

If you are outfitting an electrician, industrial maintenance kit, facility service bag, or a home shop that needs proper insulated screwdrivers, this set makes sense. It is especially well suited for users who want trusted insulated hand tools from Knipex, need VDE-tested protection, and prefer a compact set of the basics instead of a giant assortment.
