Description:

PETOL Aluminum Valve Wheel Wrenches are made from aluminum-magnesium to minimize sparking and are suitable for use in a range of industries where valve wheels are required. Openings are designed in such a way that the wrench head fits over the spoke of the valve wheel helping to reduce the chance of slipping when opening stubborn valves.

Specifications:

• Overall Length (approx.): 25-1/2"
• Opening: 2-1/2"
• Weight: 7-3/4 lbs.

Safe Practices And Procedures

1. Valve Wheel Wrenches should fit over the valve wheel rim completely. Make sure that the wheel rim is in contact with the top of the wrench opening when applying force.
2. Brace yourself firmly and pull rather than push when wrenching. (If necessary to push, do so with the flat of the hand rather than gripping around the wrench.)
3. Keep the wrench in the plane of the valve wheel rim when pulling. Pulling at an angle increases the chance of slippage.
4. Never apply excess leverage to a wrench by means of a "cheater bar."
5. Never strike wrenches with hammers or other objects.
6. Safety Goggles must always be worn by persons in any area where hand and powered tools are being used.
