Product Summary

Freud has an expansive line up of Ripping blades that are application, machine and material specific. As the world leader of manufacturing saw blades Freud offers the industry's only fully coated saw blades on the market dedicated to ripping applications. Continuous feed Gang Ripping saw blades applications are tough and generate more heat than any other application in the market. To answer this challenge Freud's exclusive coatings reduces heat adding longevity to the carbide and blade body for less rework, down time, higher cut quality and more production. Freud is one of the few manufacturers of woodworking tools in the world that produces its own micro-grain carbide for each tool application for maximum life, finish, and productivity. In addition, Freud's Tri-metal brazing allows the tooth to move slightly reducing impact and tooth damage, which proves critical in cutting solid wood with knots common in ripping applications.

Features

• Freud's exclusive blend of TiCo Hi-Density Carbide is specifically designed for each cutting application to maximize cutting life and material finish
• ATB 10-degree tooth design
• Ripping saw blade with rakers
• Freud's proprietary Perma-Shield non-stick coating reduces blade drag, protects the blade from corrosion and pitch build-up
• Triple Chip Grind (TCG) tooth geometry for long life and chip free cuts in production applications, also available in applications requiring Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) and Flat Tooth grinds
• Anti-Vibration design eliminates movement and reduces vibration for flawless cuts
• Tri-Metal Brazing gives the tooth superior bond strength and protects the carbide tooth by giving it increased flexibility and impact resistance
• Multiple tooth geometries available; dedicated to heavy duty ripping, glue line ripping, and general-purpose ripping applications for the highest quality and longest lasting blades for specific applications
• Reboring and keyways optional. To prevent formation of resin depositions, it is recommended that saw blades be cleaned regularly
