Overview

The FastCap Little Hand XL System is a third-hand support system built to hold materials in place during installation work. This is a support jack system designed for cabinet installation, overhead positioning, and solo setup work. For this configuration, the model number is 3-H LITTLE XL SYS. If you install upper cabinets, range hoods, panels, or other parts that usually need another person standing there holding weight, this setup is meant to solve that problem.

The big selling point here is the adjustable working range. Each support extends from 23.5 inches to 38 inches, which gives you enough reach for a lot of cabinet and trim-related tasks where standard blocking is awkward and a full-size support pole is overkill. The built-in jack mechanism is there for controlled height adjustment, so you can bring material up into position, fine-tune it, and keep it steady while you fasten. That matters when you are trying to hit layout lines, keep reveals consistent, or hold a unit level without fighting it the whole time.

Load capacity is rated at 150 pounds, so this is not just for light trim or temporary positioning. It is intended for real install work where weight and stability matter. Oversized 6 inch by 6 inch support feet help spread the load and give the system a more planted feel on the floor and against the workpiece. On a jobsite, that translates to less wobble and less time babysitting the setup while you reach for fasteners or make small adjustments.

The design is simple in the right way. You get two Little Hand XL supports instead of one, which gives you flexibility for wider pieces and better balance under cabinets, hoods, or long stock. Because this is a compact third-hand system instead of a larger brace, it fits jobs where space is tight and you do not want a bulky support getting in the way. It is also easier to keep in the truck because the set comes with a custom carrying bag rather than loose parts rolling around in a box.

For day-to-day use, this kind of tool earns its keep by turning two-person positioning jobs into one-person installs. That is the real value. You can set height, hold alignment, check level, and fasten on your schedule instead of trying to coordinate with someone else. If you do built-ins, kitchen work, punch-list installs, or finish carpentry, that time savings adds up fast.

The FastCap Little Hand XL System makes the most sense for cabinet installers, remodelers, finish carpenters, and serious DIY users who want cleaner setup and better control during installation. If your work regularly involves lifting and holding parts in place before fastening, this support jack system is a practical buy. If you need something for very tall ceiling work, you may want a longer support style, but for mid-height install tasks this size is a useful sweet spot.

Set Material and Fasten Without a Helper

This system is built for the part of the job where another set of hands would normally be standing there doing nothing but holding weight. The compact support range works well for upper cabinet work, hood positioning, and similar install tasks where control matters more than brute reach.

The FastCap Little Hand XL System is the kind of specialty install tool that pays for itself the first time it saves you from wrestling a cabinet alone.

• Who it's for: Cabinet installers, finish carpenters, remodelers, and serious DIY users who regularly need to hold material in position while fastening.
• Why it stands out: The 23.5 inch to 38 inch range, 150 lb capacity, and two-piece setup hit a really useful middle ground for install work where full-size support poles are too much and scrap blocking is not accurate enough.
• Worth knowing: This is a compact install support system, not a super-tall brace. If your work is mostly higher ceiling applications, you may need a longer support option.
