Key Features

Built for Floor Removal Made to strip flooring and hardened bonding agents, this scraper gives SDS-Plus rotary hammers a faster way to lift stubborn material without switching to hand scraping. Heat-Treated Strength Diablo uses a heat treatment process to improve impact resistance and stability, which matters when the tool is taking repeated hits in laminate, carpet, and adhesive cleanup. Replaceable Blade The replaceable blade helps extend service life, so you can keep the scraper body in use longer instead of replacing the whole attachment when the edge wears down.

Overview

The Diablo DMAPLCH2060 5 in. x 11 in. SDS-Plus Floor Scraper is a flooring removal accessory for SDS-Plus rotary hammers. This is a floor scraper designed for removing flooring layers and hardened bonding agents. Model Number: DMAPLCH2060. If you are pulling up laminate, carpet, linoleum, or stubborn adhesive residue, this attachment gives you a wider scraping edge and impact-driven removal instead of slow hand work.

The big draw here is simple: it turns a compatible cordless or corded SDS-Plus rotary hammer into a more efficient flooring removal tool. The 5 inch by 11 inch scraper format gives you a broad working edge for clearing surface material, while the SDS-Plus shank keeps installation straightforward in the right hammer platform. For demo work, remodel prep, and floor replacement jobs, that means less time fighting bonded material one small section at a time.

Diablo calls out longer life when scraping linoleum, laminate, and carpet, and that matters because scraper attachments live a rough life. This model uses a steel body and a unique heat treatment process intended to improve impact resistance and stability. In practical terms, that means the scraper is built to deal with repeated hammer action without getting beat up as quickly under normal flooring removal use.

Another feature worth paying attention to is the replaceable blade. On a scraper, the business end wears first. A replaceable blade helps keep the attachment useful over time and can lower long-term replacement cost versus tossing the entire scraper when the edge is spent. For contractors doing recurring floor tear-out, that is a real advantage, not a throwaway spec.

Compatibility is clear and specific: this scraper is made for cordless and corded SDS-Plus rotary hammers. That makes it a practical add-on for users already invested in an SDS-Plus platform and looking to expand what their hammer can do beyond drilling and light chipping. It is not a general-purpose hand scraper, and it is not meant for non-SDS-Plus interfaces. The right fit is an SDS-Plus hammer being used for flooring removal or adhesive cleanup.

This Diablo scraper makes the most sense for remodelers, flooring installers, general contractors, and serious DIY users taking on tear-out work. If your job regularly involves removing old laminate, carpet, linoleum, or hardened bonding agents before new material goes down, this is the kind of accessory that earns its keep fast. If you do not already own an SDS-Plus rotary hammer, it is a specialty attachment, but for the right user it is a smart way to make demo work go quicker and more consistently.

Faster Tear-Out with an SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer
