Faster Masonry Cuts The Speed-Edge slot design is built to reduce vibration so the disc tracks cleaner and cuts faster. Diablo rates it for up to 30% faster cuts than standard segmented diamond discs, which matters when you are working through concrete, brick, or block all day. Made for Tough Material This Diablo diamond cut-off disc is built for concrete, concrete with rebar, brick, and block. The hardened disc body helps it handle impact and stay productive in harder masonry where cheap blades slow down fast. Fits Common Arbors With 5/8 inch and 7/8 inch arbor compatibility, this 10 inch masonry cut-off disc is set up for common saw configurations. That gives you more flexibility when matching the disc to your existing equipment.

Overview

The Diablo DMADST1000 10 in. Diamond Segmented Turbo Cut-Off Discs for Masonry is built for contractors and serious users who need a durable masonry cutting wheel that can stay productive in hard material. This is a diamond cut-off disc designed for cutting concrete, concrete with rebar, brick, and block. Model Number: DMADST1000. If your work includes repeated cuts in abrasive masonry and you want one disc that balances speed, durability, and fitment flexibility, this one is aimed right at that job.

Where this disc earns its keep is in the way Diablo pairs a segmented turbo rim with its Speed-Edge slot design. That layout is meant to reduce vibration while keeping cutting speed up, and Diablo states it delivers up to 30% faster cuts than standard segmented diamond discs. In real use, that means less fighting the blade in dense material and better progress when you are moving through long runs of block, slab, or reinforced concrete.

Diablo also built this disc for service life, not just first-cut speed. The segments are listed as 60% taller and use superior quality diamonds with an ultra-durable bond to the disc body for up to 4 times longer life versus standard diamond discs. That matters if you are burning through cheaper blades on tough masonry. More usable segment height and better diamond exposure usually means more total cuts before the disc is spent.

The hardened disc body is another practical part of the design. It is built to absorb vibration and improve impact resistance, which helps the disc stay steadier in harder materials and maintain cut quality. For masonry work, that is not just about comfort. Lower vibration can help with control, reduce chatter, and keep the disc working more consistently when you hit varying density in concrete or block.

This 10 inch disc uses common 5/8 inch and 7/8 inch arbor sizes, which makes fitment easier when you are matching it to the saw setup you already own. It is also for use in tile saws, and the disc is rated for wet or dry cutting with a maximum speed of 6,150 RPM. Wet cutting can be the better move when you want to control heat and dust on longer cuts, while dry cutting gives you flexibility for quick field work where water is not practical.

Material coverage is a strong point here. It is intended for concrete, reinforced concrete, brick, and cinder block or block. That makes it a solid choice for masonry contractors, remodelers, concrete crews, landscapers handling hardscape cuts, and general contractors who need one dependable diamond blade for mixed masonry work. It is also a good fit for users who care more about blade life and cut speed in real material than the cheapest price on the rack.

If you are cutting soft finish tile, this is not the conversation. This is a jobsite-oriented masonry disc made for tougher stuff. The value is straightforward: faster cuts than standard segmented discs, longer life, fitment for common arbor sizes, and the ability to handle reinforced concrete along with brick and block.

Tool Nut's Take

Tool Nut's Take

Diablo DMADST1000 10 in. Diamond Segmented Turbo Cut-Off Discs for Masonry is the kind of blade you buy when cheap discs keep wasting your time

This one makes sense for users who cut real masonry regularly and need a disc that moves fast, lasts longer, and does not get pushed around as easily in hard material.

• Who it's for: Masonry contractors, concrete crews, remodelers, and anyone cutting concrete, brick, block, or reinforced concrete often enough to care about blade life.
• Why it stands out: The combination of a segmented turbo rim, vibration-reducing slot design, common arbor compatibility, and wet or dry use gives it real jobsite flexibility.
• Worth knowing: This is a masonry-focused cut-off disc, not a general-purpose finish blade. It is built for hard, abrasive material, and that is where you will see the value.
