Overview

The Diablo 1 in. Torx Security T20 Drive Bit (model DTH201P2) is built for pros and serious DIYers. This is a Torx security screwdriving bit designed for professional fastening in drills and impact drivers.

Torx security screws have a pin in the center of the recess to keep standard bits out. That makes them common on public restrooms, commercial fixtures, appliances, electronics and vehicles. This bit has the matching center hole, so it drives and removes those tamper-resistant screws without damaging the pin.

The Grip Point Tip is precision-machined to fit the fastener recess tightly, which reduces slipping and stripping. Behind it, the Increased Torsion Zone absorbs the hammering torque of an impact driver so the tip does not crack. Laser markings make the size easy to identify at a glance.

The 1 in. length and 1/4 in. hex shank fit any quick-change chuck, magnetic bit holder or drill chuck.

This is a solid choice for electricians, HVAC and mechanical techs, facilities maintenance crews, installers and anyone doing assembly or service work with a drill or impact driver.

Stays Seated, Drives Clean

A tip that fits the recess tightly means fewer stripped screws and less time fighting fasteners.

Common Questions

• Will this work on a regular Torx screw? Yes. A Torx security bit drives standard Torx screws of the same size too. A standard Torx bit will not fit a security screw.
