Overview

This is an edge protector for DEWALT TrackSaw guide rails (DWS5057), designed to guard the track's cutting edge against damage when it's not in use.

Important: The DWS5057 is only compatible with DEWALT TrackSaw rails made after Summer 2026 that have an offset spline. It will not work with older DEWALT rails that have a center spline. Check your rail's spline position before ordering.

A track saw's accuracy depends on a straight, undamaged rail edge. This protector helps keep that edge safe from dings and dents during transport and storage, which is where most rail damage happens.

It's built for regular jobsite or shop use rather than occasional handling, so it holds up alongside the rest of your TrackSaw accessories.

This is a practical add-on for anyone who moves a newer offset-spline DEWALT TrackSaw rail between the shop and job sites and wants to protect the edge that determines cut quality.
