Overview

The DeWALT DW7440RS Rolling Table Saw Stand is a mobile table saw stand built for contractors and serious DIY users who need to move a saw around the jobsite without fighting the stand every time. This is a rolling table saw stand designed for portable table saw setup, transport, and stable material support during cutting. Model Number: DW7440RS.

What makes this stand matter is how it balances portability with real jobsite stability. DeWALT lists the stand at 33 lbs, which keeps it easier to load and unload than heavier mobile stands, but it is still built from heavy-duty aluminum and rated to handle up to 200 lbs. In plain terms, you are not giving up strength just to save weight. That matters when the saw is getting rolled across rough ground, lifted into a truck, or set up and broken down repeatedly.

For actual cutting work, the wide stand base, offset rear legs, and rubber feet are the details that do the heavy lifting. Those features help the stand stay planted while you feed stock through the saw, which gives you better control and a more predictable setup. If you work on dirt, concrete, plywood decks, or finished smooth floors, that extra grip and stance make a difference.

The mobility side is well thought out too. Large heavy-duty wheels help the DW7440RS roll over steps, curbs, and normal jobsite debris more easily than smaller wheels. The retractable soft-grip handle lets you pull the saw with the weight kept closer to the ground, so it feels more manageable when moving from the trailer to the cut station. Folding legs with quick-release levers collapse under the stand to cut down the transport footprint.

Storage is another strong point. A heavy-duty kickstand allows the stand to balance upright, which is useful when floor space is tight in a van, shop corner, or garage. That upright storage feature sounds small until you have a saw, hoses, cords, and material stacked around it. Being able to park the stand cleanly saves space and makes the whole setup less awkward between jobs.

DeWALT also includes quick-connect stand brackets for easier attachment and detachment of the saw during loading and unloading. That is a practical feature if you do not always want the saw living on the stand, or if you need to separate the two for transport. Instead of treating the stand like a permanent fixture, you can work around how your truck, trailer, or shop is actually laid out.

This stand is best suited to carpenters, remodelers, general contractors, and anyone using a portable table saw for jobsite cutting. It makes the most sense for users who move their saw often and want a setup that rolls well, stores upright, and stays steady during use. If your saw mostly stays in one corner of a shop, a fixed stand may be enough. If your work moves room to room or site to site, the DW7440RS is the kind of table saw stand that earns its keep.

Move the Saw Without Fighting the Stand

This stand is built for crews that do not leave the saw in one place all week. The lighter design, rolling layout, and folding frame make it easier to transport between cuts, between rooms, and between jobs.

• 33 lb stand weight helps reduce carrying effort during loading and unloading
• Large heavy-duty wheels are designed to handle curbs, steps, and jobsite debris

Built to Stay Planted While You Feed Material

A mobile stand is only useful if it still feels solid when the cut starts. The DW7440RS uses a wide base, offset rear legs, and rubber feet to help keep the setup steady so material feed feels more controlled.

• Heavy-duty aluminum construction supports up to 200 lbs
• Rubber feet help prevent sliding on smoother surfaces
