Overview

The DeWALT DCPW1000B 60V MAX FLEXVOLT Brushless 1000 PSI Power Cleaner is a cordless cold water power cleaner built for portable cleanup where dragging around a full-size pressure washer does not make sense. This is a power cleaner designed for portable washing and outdoor cleanup. Model Number: DCPW1000B. If you need more cleaning force than a hose but want something faster to grab, lighter to carry, and easier to use around tools, vehicles, decks, or jobsite equipment, this is the lane it fits.

On the performance side, this unit delivers 1000 PSI at 1.0 GPM. That matters because it gives you enough pressure to knock off built-up dirt, mud, and grime without stepping up to a bulky cart-style washer. DeWALT also calls out up to 18 times the pressure of a standard garden hose, which helps explain where this tool sits: not a replacement for a heavy-duty gas machine, but a serious upgrade for mobile cleaning, spot washing, and maintenance work.

One of the best parts of the DCPW1000B is flexibility. You can connect it to a standard garden hose with the included quick-connect adapter, or use the included suction hose to draw from a fresh water source. For contractors, maintenance crews, and homeowners, that opens up a lot of real-world use. You can rinse off tools at the truck, wash down patio furniture away from the house, clean a boat at the dock, or spray down equipment where a hose connection is not practical.

The tool is also set up to make changing tasks easier. It comes with a long wand with quick connect, four spray nozzles listed as Turbo, 15, 25, and 40 degree, plus a foam cannon for detergent application. In plain terms, you can switch from a tighter stream for stubborn grime to a wider fan for lighter rinsing without wasting time hunting for accessories. Onboard nozzle storage helps keep those tips on the tool instead of lost in the bottom of a truck box.

From a jobsite usability standpoint, the adjustable padded shoulder strap is not just a comfort add-on. It makes this cordless pressure washer easier to carry while moving around vehicles, outdoor spaces, and equipment. The 2-speed selector is another practical feature. Run higher output when you need stronger cleaning, or back it down when the job is lighter and you want to stretch runtime. DeWALT states runtime can reach up to 37 minutes depending on setup and use.

This DeWALT power cleaner is part of the 60V MAX FLEXVOLT system, and it is sold as a bare tool, so the battery and charger are not included. That makes the most sense for users already invested in DeWALT cordless tools and especially the FLEXVOLT platform. If you already own compatible batteries, this is an easy add for cleanup work without buying into another system.

In terms of where it fits, this is a strong choice for general contractors, maintenance pros, property owners, boat owners, and serious DIY users who want real cleaning power in a handheld format. It is especially useful for tool cleanup, vehicle washing, deck and outdoor furniture cleaning, and quick washdowns before loading equipment back into storage. If you want something more portable than a traditional pressure washer but more capable than a hose nozzle, the DCPW1000B hits that middle ground well.

Portable Cleaning Without the Cart

This DeWALT cordless pressure washer is built for grab-and-go cleanup. You get more washing power than a hose without hauling out a full-size machine, extension cord, or gas unit.

• 1000 PSI maximum pressure for tougher dirt and grime
• 1.0 GPM flow for controlled, efficient rinsing

Switch Water Sources to Match the Job

The big convenience feature here is water-source flexibility. Use a garden hose at home or pull from a fresh water source when you are away from a faucet.

• Self-priming setup supports freshwater draw with the included suction hose
• Quick-connect hose adapter makes standard garden hose connection simple

Set It Up Fast for Different Cleaning Tasks

Tool Nut's Take

Tool Nut's Take

DeWALT DCPW1000B Power Cleaner Makes Sense When Portability Matters

The DeWALT DCPW1000B is the kind of tool you buy when a hose is not enough and a full-size pressure washer is more machine than you want to deal with.

• Who it's for: Pros and serious DIY users who need fast cleanup for tools, trucks, decks, boats, and outdoor gear without dragging out a wheeled washer.
• Why it stands out: The big win is portability plus water-source flexibility. Being able to pull from fresh water or hook up to a garden hose makes it useful in more places than a typical pressure washer.
• Worth knowing: This is a bare tool, so plan on supplying your own compatible battery and charger. Also, it is a residential power cleaner, not a substitute for a heavy-duty gas unit when you are stripping concrete or blasting years of buildup.
