Overview

This bundle pairs the DEWALT DCPR320B 20V MAX 1-1/2 in. Cordless Pruner with the DEWALT 20V MAX 5.0Ah Starter Kit two DCB205 5.0Ah batteries and the DCB1104 charger giving you a complete, ready-to-prune outdoor cutting kit with no additional purchases required. Model Number: DCPR320B. Charge a battery, load it in the pruner, and you are working from the first session.

The DCPR320B pruner is built around making repeated trimming work significantly less tiring. DEWALT rates it for up to 1-1/2 in. cut capacity thick enough for heavy stems and many common shrub branches and states it takes 16 times less effort on average than a manual pruner. That is the difference you feel after an hour of pruning: less hand strain, more consistent cuts, and fewer forced rest breaks. It can deliver up to 1,100 cuts per charge with a DCB203 battery, so it is built for real yard sessions, not just a few snips around the garden.

At 3 lbs. tool only, the compact design stays manageable for one-handed use while reaching into hedges, working overhead, or moving branch to branch over a long session. Non-stick coated steel blades help the pruner cut smoothly and reduce plant material buildup during use, and the included blade change tool means maintenance is straightforward when the blade eventually needs swapping. The onboard LED work light is genuinely useful when cutting inside thick shrubs, along fence lines, or under canopy growth where branches hide in shadow.

The DCB205 5.0Ah batteries (2) are the right match for a pruning tool used through real yard work. DEWALT rates each pack at up to 60% more capacity than the standard DCB200, which translates to more cuts before you need a swap. At just 1.4 lbs. each, they add minimal weight to the pruner and keep the tool easy to control and balance in hand. The 3-LED fuel gauge on each battery provides immediate feedback on state of charge check remaining power before starting a new section of hedge or moving to another part of the property. With two batteries and the included DCB1104 charger, the workflow is straightforward: one pack in the pruner, one on the charger, and the DCB1104 brings a depleted pack back quickly so you are never forced to stop mid-session. Both batteries are compatible with the entire DEWALT 20V MAX tool lineup, so they work across everything else you already own.

Who should buy it? Homeowners, landscapers, property maintenance users, and orchard and garden users who do enough regular pruning to get tired of manual cutters halfway through the job and want a complete, ready-to-run kit on the DEWALT 20V MAX platform without sourcing a battery and charger separately.
