Overview

The DEWALT DCE592B 20V MAX GRABO Lifter is a cordless vacuum lifting tool made for moving and setting heavy construction materials. This is a lifting tool designed for lifting, carrying, and installing sheet goods, tile, glass, metal, drywall, concrete, and natural stone. Model Number: DCE592B. If you spend your day handling large, flat materials that are tough to grip safely, this tool gives you a more controlled way to pick them up and place them without fighting the material the whole time.

The big story here is lifting capacity and material range. DEWALT rates it for up to 265 lbs maximum in horizontal lifting and up to 132 lbs maximum in vertical lifting. That matters because this is not just for smooth glass panels. It is built to work on both non-porous and semi-porous materials, including rough textured surfaces, so it has real value for tile installers, remodelers, countertop crews, glaziers, and general contractors who move different materials from one job to the next.

What makes the DEWALT DCE592B 20V MAX GRABO Lifter practical on the job is the electric vacuum pump paired with a built-in pressure sensor. Instead of relying only on the initial grab, the tool automatically engages to help maintain vacuum suction. In plain terms, that means less babysitting while you are carrying a panel across the room or lowering a large tile into position. The double-action button also adds control during pickup and release, which is exactly what you want when the material is expensive or easy to chip.

DEWALT also did a solid job with the user feedback side. The bright LED control screen and digital pressure gauge give you visible operating information right on the tool, including load capacity and operational mode. There is also an audio alarm to alert you when battery charge reaches critically low levels. That is the kind of feature that matters in the real world because it helps keep you from getting caught mid-lift with a tool that is about to quit on you.

From a maintenance standpoint, this cordless vacuum lifter is set up to stay serviceable. The foam-rubber vacuum seal is replaceable, and DEWALT includes replacement dust filters, a seal guard accessory, and a sunshade accessory for better screen visibility in direct sunlight. That tells you this tool was meant for actual site use, not just a clean shop floor. The attachment hooks also allow use with lifting straps, sold separately, which gives crews another option when handling bigger or more awkward loads.

The platform matters too. This tool runs on the DEWALT 20V MAX battery system, which is a major advantage for anyone already invested in DEWALT cordless tools. It is sold as a tool only model, so battery and charger are not included. For existing DEWALT users, that keeps cost down and lets you put the same batteries you already own to work on a material-handling tool that solves a different problem than a drill, impact driver, or saw.

Who should buy it? If you install large-format tile, handle sheet metal, set glass, move stone slabs, carry drywall, or reposition panels without wanting a second set of hands every time, this tool makes sense fast. It is especially useful for trades where material handling is slow, awkward, or hard on the body. If you only need to move lightweight pieces once in a while, a manual solution may be enough. But if lifting flat stock is part of the job, the DEWALT DCE592B 20V MAX GRABO Lifter is the kind of specialty tool that earns its keep by saving effort, improving control, and reducing the chance of dropping expensive material.

Handle More Material With Less Strain

This is where a vacuum lifter earns its place. Instead of pinching edges or wrestling slick surfaces, you get a secure grip on broad materials that are awkward to carry by hand.

• Up to 265 lbs maximum horizontal lifting capacity
• Works on non-porous and semi-porous materials, including rough textured surfaces
• Useful for glass, tile, metal, wood, drywall, concrete, and natural stone

Maintain Suction While You Work

When you are lowering a tile or carrying a heavy panel, consistent suction matters more than a flashy spec sheet. The built-in pressure sensor helps keep the grip where it needs to be.

• Pressure sensor automatically engages to help maintain vacuum suction
• Designed for lifting, carrying, and installation applications
• Double-action button helps improve control during handling
