Key Features

Built for concrete chemicalsUp to 150 PSI gives this sprayer the pressure needed for demanding concrete spraying work, not just light cleanup jobs. That means better reach, more consistent output, and less fighting the tool when conditions get rough. Dial in the flowThe 10-speed flow control and 6 changeable nozzles let you tune the spray pattern and output for different materials and coverage needs. That helps reduce waste and makes it easier to match the job instead of forcing one setup to do everything. Backpack runtimeWith a 4 gallon tank, backpack straps, and runtime rated up to 70 gallons or 10,000 square yards per charge with a DCBP520G battery, this DeWALT concrete chemical sprayer is set up to cover ground without dragging a manual tank around all day.

Overview

The DeWALT DCCS1100B 20V MAX XR Concrete Chemical Sprayer is a battery-powered backpack sprayer built for concrete chemicals and demanding surface treatment work. This is a concrete chemical sprayer designed for concrete spraying applications where pressure, coverage, and mobility matter. Model Number: DCCS1100B. If you are treating forms, spraying concrete-related chemicals, or covering large areas without being tied to a pump handle, this tool is aimed squarely at that kind of work.

What makes this unit matter on the job is the combination of output and control. It delivers up to 150 PSI, up to 0.8 gallons per minute, and up to 37 feet of spray distance. Those numbers are not just for the spec sheet. They mean the sprayer has the pressure to push material where you need it, the flow to cover efficiently, and the reach to work larger surfaces without constantly repositioning. For concrete crews, that can mean faster application and more consistent coverage.

The flow side is just as important as the pressure side. DeWALT built in a 10-speed flow control so you can adjust output for the material and the surface you are working on. It also comes with 6 changeable nozzles, including adjustable brass, large flow brass 33 degree, medium flow brass 42 degree, small flow brass 62 degree, foaming, and jet stream options. That gives you real flexibility for different spray patterns instead of locking you into one setup that only works well in one situation.

From a jobsite practicality standpoint, this is clearly meant to be worn and used over a full shift. The 4 gallon tank gives you useful capacity before refilling, while the hi-viz backpack straps help distribute the load better than carrying a heavy sprayer by hand. There is also a tank fill indicator to make fluid level checks easier and on-tool nozzle storage noted in the product imagery, which helps keep your spray options with the machine instead of bouncing around the truck.

Runtime is another selling point if you are already on the DeWALT cordless platform. With a DCBP520G battery sold separately, DeWALT rates this sprayer for up to 70 gallons sprayed per charge and coverage up to 10,000 square yards per charge. That kind of output is a big reason to look at a cordless sprayer in the first place. You get mobility without giving up the ability to handle meaningful work volume.

As a bare tool, the DCCS1100B makes the most sense for users who already own compatible DeWALT 20V MAX batteries and chargers. It is also Tool Connect Tag Ready, which is a practical bonus for fleet management and jobsite tracking if you keep close tabs on where your equipment goes. At about 22 lbs, it is not a lightweight toy, but that is the tradeoff for a heavy-duty backpack sprayer with a 4 gallon tank and concrete-focused design.

Who should buy it? Concrete contractors, general contractors, formwork crews, and serious trade users who need a cordless backpack sprayer for concrete chemicals and broad-area spraying. If you need something for occasional garden use, this is more tool than you need. If you need a cordless sprayer that is purpose-built for concrete applications and gives you pressure, control, and coverage in one package, this is the right lane for it.

Pressure That Reaches the Work

This is where the DeWALT DCCS1100B 20V MAX XR Concrete Chemical Sprayer separates itself from lighter-duty sprayers. It is built to move material with enough pressure to be useful on real concrete work, not just low-output touch-up spraying.

• Up to 150 PSI for strong spray performance
• Up to 37 ft spray distance for wider reach on the job

Control the Pattern, Not Just the Trigger

Different chemicals and surfaces call for different output. The adjustable flow dial and included nozzles let you set the sprayer up for coverage, direction, and output instead of wasting material with a one-pattern setup.

• 10-speed flow control for dialing output to the application
• 6 included nozzles for different spray styles, including foaming and jet stream

Made to Cover Ground

A backpack layout only matters if the machine can actually stay productive between refills and battery swaps. The 4 gallon tank and high runtime claims are what make this a serious option for larger areas and repeated spraying tasks.

• 4 gallon tank capacity with tank fill indicator
• Up to 70 gallons and up to 10,000 sq yds per charge with DCBP520G battery sold separately

Pro Tip

Use the nozzle choice and the 10-speed dial together, not separately. If you need to change coverage or material output, start with the nozzle that gives the spray pattern you want, then fine-tune the flow rate so you are not over-applying chemical just because the pressure is there.

Tool Nut's Take
