Overview

The DeWALT DCB2104-2 20V MAX XR POWERPACK 4.0Ah Battery 2-Pack with DCB240 4.0Ah Compact Battery is a three-battery 20V MAX bundle for DEWALT users who need more runtime on the jobsite. This is a cordless tool battery bundle designed to keep 20V MAX tools running through a full day. Bundle Model Number: PROMO DCB2104-2-DCB240. It combines two DCB2104 XR POWERPACK 4.0Ah batteries with one DCB240 4.0Ah compact battery.

The two DCB2104 batteries are the high-output half of this bundle. DEWALT rates the 20V MAX XR POWERPACK 4.0Ah at 50% more power and a longer lifespan than its traditional cylindrical-cell batteries. That is the pack to put on high-draw tools like circular saws, grinders, and hammer drills, where a stronger battery keeps the tool closer to full output under load.

The DCB2104 is built with a durable overmolded base for impact resistance and an LED state-of-charge indicator, so you can check remaining charge before you climb a ladder or start a long cut. XR POWERPACK batteries are part of DEWALT's best-performing line of 20V MAX batteries.

The DCB240 is the compact half. It delivers 4.0Ah (80 watt-hours) in the same size and weight as the DCB230 20V MAX compact 3.0Ah battery, and it is lighter than the DCB204 4.0Ah battery at the same capacity. On a drill, impact driver, or oscillating tool, that means less weight in your hand without giving up runtime. It includes a 3-LED fuel gauge charge indicator.

All three batteries work with DEWALT 20V MAX tools and chargers. No charger is included, so this bundle is best for users who already own a 20V MAX charger and want to add capacity to an existing tool lineup.

This bundle makes the most sense for contractors, remodelers, and serious DIYers running several 20V MAX tools at once, or anyone whose current batteries are aging out. Use the two POWERPACK batteries on the high-draw tools and the compact DCB240 on the light, handheld tools.
