Key Features

Full-Sheet Length At 102" (2591 mm), this track saw guide rail runs past the 96" length of a standard sheet in one piece, with no joint to align. Dual-Sided Rail Both edges of the rail are usable, so you can cut from either side without turning the rail around on the workpiece. Zero-Clearance Edge The track edge sits right on the cut line, backing up the material for precise, straight, splinter-free cuts.

Overview

The DeWALT 102-in. TrackSaw Track (DWS5102) is a one-piece guide rail for cabinetmakers, finish carpenters, and installers who rip full sheets and long panels with a track saw. This is a track saw guide rail designed for long, straight rips and crosscuts on sheet goods, countertops, and large casework parts. DWS5102 replaces DeWALT's earlier 102" track under a new model number, keeping the same dual-edged, zero-clearance design.

Length is the reason to buy this track. A standard sheet of plywood or MDF is 96" long, and the DWS5102 covers it with 6" to spare, so the saw is fully supported entering and leaving the cut. You skip the connector, the alignment check, and the small step a joint can leave in a long rip. DeWALT recommends it for tables, countertops, tall cabinetry, closets, bookcases, and built-ins.

The zero-clearance system is where the accuracy comes from. The edge of the track rides directly on the cut line, so you line the rail up with your layout marks and cut exactly where you marked. Because the track backs up the material right at the blade, DeWALT rates the system for splinter-free cuts along the edge.

The rail is dual-sided. Both edges can be used, which eliminates the need to rotate the rail on the workpiece when you change the cut direction or the side of the sheet you're working from. On repetitive work, DeWALT designed it to deliver consistent results cut after cut, and the construction is built for daily, heavy-duty use.

DeWALT lists the DWS5102 for use with the DeWALT DCS525B 20V XR cordless track saw. The track is sold alone; the saw, clamps, and storage are separate.

Who should buy it? Anyone breaking down full sheets on a regular basis: cabinet shops, closet and built-in installers, countertop fabricators, and remodelers. If your longest rail is shorter than a sheet, this is the track that ends the shuffle of moving and rejoining rails mid-project.

Tool Nut's Take

The DeWALT 102-in. TrackSaw Track Is the One Rail That Covers a Full Sheet

If you rip 8-foot sheets, a single 102" rail is faster and straighter than joining two short ones.

• Who it's for: Cabinet shops and installers running a DeWALT track saw who break down full sheets often.
• Why it stands out: One-piece full-sheet length with dual-sided, zero-clearance edges.
• Worth knowing: At 102", it needs a long spot in the shop or truck for storage. It's track only; the saw is sold separately.

Common Questions

• Is the DWS5102 long enough to rip a full 4 x 8 sheet? Yes. At 102", it runs 6" past the 96" length of a standard sheet.
• Can both sides of the rail be used? Yes. The dual-sided design means you don't have to rotate the rail on the workpiece.
• Which saw does it work with? DeWALT lists it for use with the DCS525 Plunge Track Saw.
