Key Features

Full-Sheet Capacity This portable MFT workbench for track saws gives you a 91-13/16" (2333 mm) long work surface, so rips up to 100" (2540 mm) and crosscuts over 48" (1219 mm) happen on one bench. Rigid Aluminum and Carbon Frame An anodized aluminum extrusion frame, one-piece aluminum legs, and carbon fiber leg braces keep the top from flexing when you lean on a guide rail. Set Up in About a Minute Unfold the legs, tighten the knobs, and level the feet. No tools, no loose fasteners, and it folds back to 3-1/2" (89 mm) thick for the truck.

Overview

The DashBoard Portable MFT Workbench for Track Saws (DB0001) is a folding, MFT-style cutting bench for woodworkers, cabinet installers, and finish carpenters who break down sheet goods and cut parts with a track saw. This is a portable workbench designed for accurate, repeatable track saw crosscuts and full-length rips, on the jobsite or in the shop. Dash-Board built it as a longer, more rigid alternative to the Festool MFT/3 Multifunction Table, at roughly the same weight.

Length is the headline. The work surface measures 91-13/16" x 23-9/16" (2333 x 602 mm), more than twice as long as a typical MFT-style bench. With the right accessory setup, the bench supports rips up to 100" (2540 mm) and crosscuts over 48" (1219 mm), which covers a full 4 x 8 sheet without balancing the overhang on sawhorses or a helper.

Rigidity is what separates a cutting bench from a folding table. Dash-Board uses a proprietary anodized aluminum extrusion frame, machined aluminum corners, rigid one-piece formed aluminum legs, and carbon fiber leg braces. Three aluminum supports (the TopLink and stretchers) sit under the top so it stays flat under heavy material. Dash-Board calls the result the most rigid portable work table made, with the best size-to-weight ratio in the world. In practical terms, the surface doesn't move when you press a guide rail down and push a saw through 3/4" plywood.

The top is a precision-machined two-piece MDF surface built around a full-thickness replaceable cut strip. The saw blade runs into the textured plastic strip, not the bench top, so the top doesn't get chewed up cut after cut. When the strip wears, flip it over and use the other side before you replace it. Benches connect end-to-end and side-to-side if you need a bigger work area.

Portability is where the DB0001 earns its keep. Setup takes about a minute with no tools: unfold and lock the legs, tighten the trilobe aluminum knobs, and level each leg. Pivoting feet adjust for sloped driveways and uneven garage floors. Folded, the bench is 3-1/2" (89 mm) thick and weighs about 65.5 lbs (29.7 kg), light enough for one person to carry from the truck. Working height is 35-1/2" (902 mm), right in the comfortable range for cutting and assembly.

Pair the bench with your track saw and guide rail and it becomes a complete sheet-goods cutting station. Dash-Board designed the bench to work with Festool, Makita, Bosch, Mafell, DeWALT, and Metabo guide rails, and the full Dash-Board accessory line mounts to it for squaring, ripping, and supporting oversized panels. For many shops, that setup handles sheet goods without the footprint, dust, or kickback risk of a table saw or panel saw.

Who should buy it? Cabinet installers, trim and finish carpenters, remodelers, and woodworkers in small shops who want a dedicated cutting surface that folds flat. If you already own a track saw and still cut full sheets on foam or sawhorses, this bench is the upgrade.

Carry It Solo to Any Jobsite

A long bench only helps if you can get it where the work is. The DB0001 folds flat and carries like a sheet of plywood.

• Folds to 3-1/2" (89 mm) thick
• About 65.5 lbs (29.7 kg)
• No tools or loose hardware for setup

Cut Into the Strip, Not the Bench

The replaceable cut strip takes the blade so the MDF top stays clean and the cut line stays crisp. Flip it once it's worn, then replace it when both sides are spent.

• Full-thickness textured plastic cut strip
• Precision-machined two-piece MDF top with 20 mm dog holes

Level on Uneven Ground

Each leg levels independently, and the pivoting feet sit flat on sloped or rough surfaces. A level, stable bench is the first step to a square cut.

• Independent leg leveling
• Pivoting feet for angled or uneven floors

Stiff Where It Counts

Carbon fiber leg braces lock the aluminum legs in place without adding weight. Add the Dashboard Parallel Guides and Rip Gauge and the frame holds repeatable rip widths across the full length of the bench.

• Carbon fiber leg braces
• Rigid one-piece formed aluminum legs

Pro Tip

Level the bench every time you set it up, even if the floor looks flat. A twisted top throws off long rips more than anything else, and the independent leg leveling takes seconds.

Tool Nut's Take

Tool Nut's Take

The DashBoard Portable MFT Workbench for Track Saws Is a Full-Sheet Bench That Fits in the Truck

Most portable MFT benches make you choose between size and portability. The DB0001 gives you more than 7-1/2 feet of cutting surface at about the weight of a standard MFT.

• Who it's for: Track saw owners who cut full sheets on site or in a small shop and want a flat, rigid surface that sets up in a minute.
• Why it stands out: The 91-13/16" top, aluminum and carbon fiber frame, and flip-and-reuse cut strip.
• Worth knowing: The bench ships on its own. Rail brackets, parallel guides, and outriggers are separate purchases, so plan the accessory setup you need for your cuts.

Common Questions

• How is the Dash-Board different from the Festool MFT/3? The Dash-Board work surface is 91-13/16" x 23-9/16", more than double the length of the MFT/3, and it uses an aluminum extrusion frame with carbon fiber leg braces while weighing about the same.
• Can it replace a table saw for sheet goods? With a track saw, guide rail, and the right accessories, it handles full-sheet rips and crosscuts. The Dashboard Outrigger Bundle adds support for full 4 x 8 sheets.
• How tall is the bench? 35-1/2" (902 mm), with independent leg leveling and pivoting feet for uneven floors.
• Can I stand on it? No. The workbench is not intended as a standing platform. Keep static loads below 300 lbs (136 kg).
