Stronger Pry Bars The I-beam design gives this Milwaukee 48-22-9214 4 Piece Metal Pry Bar Tool Set up to 40% more prying strength. That matters when you are leaning on a bar hard and do not want flex to waste effort. Built for Abuse An all-metal core and hammer-ready strike cap let you drive the bar where your hands alone will not get it started. More leverage in tight spots usually means less fighting and less chance of damaging the tool. Useful Size Range With 8 inch, 12 inch, 18 inch, and 24 inch pry bars plus a storage tray, you get the right length for trim work, pulling, lifting, and general teardown without digging through loose tools.

Overview

The Milwaukee 48-22-9214 4 Piece Metal Pry Bar Tool Set is a hand tool set built for prying, lifting, separating, and pulling in repair, remodel, and teardown work. This is a pry bar set designed for general demolition, material separation, and stubborn parts removal. Model Number: 48-22-9214. If you need more than a light-duty trim bar and want a set that covers small to medium prying jobs with one purchase, this is the kind of kit that makes sense.

The big selling point here is the I-beam design, which Milwaukee rates at up to 40% more prying strength. On the job, that means better resistance to twisting and flex when you are working fasteners loose, opening gaps, or lifting material that does not want to move. Instead of one oversized bar that is awkward half the time, you get four lengths so you can match the pry bar to the space and the amount of leverage you actually need.

Milwaukee also built these around an all-metal core, and that is a feature worth paying attention to. When a pry bar is going to live in a service cart, demo bag, or shop drawer, the weak point is usually how it handles repeated hard use. The all-metal core gives the set the kind of durability you want if these tools are going to see regular use instead of occasional weekend duty.

The hammer-ready strike cap is another practical feature, not just a bullet point. It lets you tap the bar into tight seams, under trim, behind panels, or into stuck assemblies when hand pressure alone is not enough. That is useful for mechanics, maintenance techs, remodelers, and anyone doing disassembly work where access is limited and you need to create an opening before the real leverage starts.

For comfort, each bar uses a tri-lobe handle. That shape gives your hand a more secure grip when you are applying twisting force or pushing hard through a stubborn lift. In real use, a better handle matters because pry bars are not finesse tools. They are tools you bear down on, and a handle that stays comfortable under load helps you work longer with better control.

The chrome finish adds corrosion resistance and makes cleanup easier. If your tools end up around moisture, grime, adhesives, or general shop mess, that finish helps the bars keep their surface longer and wipe down easier after use. The included easy-access storage tray is also more useful than it sounds. It keeps the full set organized so the right pry bar length is easy to grab instead of buried under other hand tools.

This Milwaukee pry bar set is a good fit for mechanics, technicians, general contractors, maintenance crews, and serious DIY users who want a durable hand tool set for regular service. It is especially useful if your work jumps between small access areas and jobs that need longer leverage. If you want one matching pry bar set with practical size coverage, solid durability, and a lifetime guarantee, this one is built the way a working set should be.

One Set, Four Useful Lengths

This set covers the pry bar sizes most people actually reach for. Short bars help in cramped access points, while the longer bars give you real leverage for lifting, separating, and pulling without overworking a small tool.

Pro Tip

Start with the shortest pry bar that fits the gap, especially when using the hammer-ready strike cap to get under material. Once you create space, step up to the longer bar for leverage instead of forcing one big bar from the start.
