More Torque, Less Hand Fatigue The ball-style Tru-Grip handle gives you more leverage on stubborn fasteners while staying comfortable through repetitive fastening work. Fast Bit Changes The Fastbit collar lets you swap or flip bits quickly, so you can move between Phillips #2 and 6 mm slotted screws without hunting for another screwdriver. One Handle, More Uses This multi-bit screwdriver works with most 1/4 in. hex bits longer than 1.5 in., which makes it a practical handle for standard bits, impact bits, and specialty bits.

Overview

The Klein 32960A Fastbit Tru-Grip Phillips and Slotted Screwdriver is built for electricians, construction crews, and anyone who wants one driver handle that can cover common fastening work without wasting motion. This is a multi-bit screwdriver designed for fastening. Model 32960A uses a removable double-ended shaft with a Phillips #2 tip on one end and a 6 mm slotted tip on the other, giving you two common profiles in one everyday carry tool.

What makes this one useful on the job is speed. Klein's Fastbit collar lets you release and change the shaft quickly, and the ball bearing locking system holds the bit in place once installed. In practical terms, that means less fumbling when you need to swap from a slotted terminal screw to a Phillips fastener, and less need to carry multiple full-size screwdrivers for routine service and install work.

The handle is where this tool earns its keep. Klein uses a ball-style Tru-Grip handle with rubber and plastic construction, and that shape matters because it gives your hand more purchase for higher torque than a slim handle driver. If you do repetitive panel work, trim-out, device installs, or general maintenance fastening, the larger grip is easier to keep working with over a full day.

The removable shaft is made from carbon steel with a sandblasted finish, and the fixed multi-bit design keeps the setup straightforward. You are not dealing with a complicated ratcheting mechanism here, which is good news if you want a driver that stays simple, durable, and ready for daily use. At 8.53 in. overall length with a 5.91 in. shank and a 4.59 in. handle, it lands in a practical middle ground: long enough for general access, compact enough for pouch carry.

Another strong point is flexibility. The Klein 32960A Fastbit Tru-Grip Phillips and Slotted Screwdriver is compatible with most 1/4 in. hex bits longer than 1.5 in., including impact bits, power bits, and specialty bits. That opens it up beyond the included double-ended shaft and makes it a smart option if you already stock common 1/4 in. hex bits in your bag. Instead of carrying extra handles, you can use one comfortable driver across a wider range of screw types.

This screwdriver is not insulated, not magnetic, and not ratcheting, so it is best viewed as a straightforward, high-grip manual driver rather than an all-in-one specialty tool. If that matches how you work, it is a solid fit. It also meets or exceeds ASME and ISO standards, which matters if you want a hand tool from a known brand that is built to professional expectations.

Who should buy it? Anyone doing regular fastening with common Phillips and slotted screws, especially electricians and construction pros who value grip comfort and quick bit changes more than ratcheting features. Serious DIY users will also appreciate it if they want a better handle than the typical multi-bit screwdriver and the option to run longer 1/4 in. hex bits they may already own.
