Description:

The Vessel Tool 980P3150 MEGADORA IMPACTA is a Phillips #3 screwdriver that doubles as an impact driver when struck with a hammer. Its cam rotation mechanism rotates the blade 12 degrees counterclockwise on each hammer strike, converting impact force into loosening torque for stuck, rusted, or stripped screws. Made in Japan from fully hardened chrome vanadium steel, it handles demanding automotive, industrial, and heavy-duty fastening tasks equally well as a standard everyday screwdriver.

• Loosens stuck, rusted, or stripped screws by converting hammer strikes into rotational torque: the cam rotation mechanism turns the blade 12 counterclockwise on each impact, breaking static friction that manual effort alone cannot overcome.
• Tang-Thru shank and steel end cap channel hammer blows directly through the blade without stressing the handle, ensuring efficient and repeatable energy transfer on every strike.
• High-precision black point Phillips #3 tip seats deeply in the drive recess to minimize cam-out during both impact and standard manual use.
• Magnetic tip holds screws in place for secure, one-handed fastening and screw placement.
• 8 mm diameter shank made from fully hardened chrome vanadium steel resists deformation under repeated impact; 6" (150 mm) blade length provides useful reach in tighter spaces.
• Functions as a standard manual screwdriver when no hammer is needed, with a 1-7/16" (36 mm) grip diameter and textured non-slip handle zones for comfortable daily control.

The MEGADORA IMPACTA 980P3150 is purpose-built for one of the most persistent workshop problems: the fastener that refuses to turn. When the steel end cap is struck with a hammer, the cam rotation mechanism simultaneously drives the tip forward and rotates the blade 12 degrees counterclockwise. This combination of axial pressure and rotational torque breaks the static friction holding a seized screw far more effectively than manual effort alone, making the tool particularly valuable in automotive repair, industrial maintenance, and any environment where fasteners corrode or overtighten over time.

Build quality reflects the tool's demanding role. The Tang-Thru shank runs the full length of the handle, connecting the steel end cap directly to the blade so hammer energy is not absorbed or dissipated by the grip material. The 8 mm shank is machined from fully hardened chrome vanadium steel for resistance to deformation under repeated impact, and the high-precision black point tip maintains a secure fit in the Phillips recess across both impact and manual applications. The contoured gray and black handle features a 1-7/16" (36 mm) grip diameter with textured non-slip zones for confident torque transfer during hand use, and the magnetic tip aids single-handed screw placement.

When impact is not needed, the MEGADORA IMPACTA works as a conventional screwdriver, making it a practical everyday addition rather than a single-purpose rescue driver. Overall length is 10-15/16" (278 mm) and weight is 0.44 lb. Made in Japan.
