Stronger Steel TiesThe 16 gauge black annealed steel wire is built for higher-strength rebar tying. Makita rates it at up to 65% stronger ties, which matters when you need secure, consistent fastening on reinforcing steel. 245 Ties Per ReelEach reel delivers up to 245 ties, so you spend more time tying and less time stopping for reloads. That is a real productivity gain on larger slab, footing, and cage work. Fast Reel ChangesThis Makita steel tie wire reel uses a place-and-feed easy load design for quicker swaps in the GRT01 rebar tying tool. Less fumbling during reloads means less downtime when the pace picks up.

Overview

The Makita 1915N0-0 Steel Tie Wire Reel for GRT01 Rebar Tying Tool, 16-Ga, 32-Pack is a fastening accessory pack made for the Makita GRT01 rebar tying tool. This is a rebar tying tool wire reel accessory designed for fastening reinforcing steel on concrete and structural jobs. Model Number: 1915N0-0. If you are running a GRT01 on active rebar work, this pack is what keeps the tool productive with 16 gauge black annealed steel wire and high reel count for fewer supply interruptions.

The big reason this reel matters is tie strength. Makita specifies 16 gauge diameter black annealed steel wire and rates it for up to 65% stronger ties. That is the kind of spec that means something in the field because the whole point of a rebar tying system is repeatable, secure fastening without slowing the crew down. If the wire is the weak link, the tool cannot do its job. This reel is built specifically to avoid that problem.

Capacity is the other practical advantage. Each reel delivers up to 245 ties per reel, which helps stretch runtime between reloads. On repetitive tying work, that adds up fast. Instead of stopping every few minutes, the operator can keep moving through mats, cages, and intersections with fewer interruptions. For crews doing high-volume tying, the difference is not small.

Makita also built this reel around jobsite convenience. The place-and-feed easy load system is there for one reason: faster reel changes. When a reel runs out, you want the reload to be simple and predictable, not something that breaks your pace. That easy-load design helps keep the GRT01 ready to go with less messing around at the tool.

Compatibility here is straightforward and important. This reel is for use with the Makita GRT01 40V max XGT 16 Gauge Rebar Tying Tool. That fit matters because rebar tying wire is not a one-size-fits-all purchase. If you already own or plan to run the GRT01, this is the correct Makita wire reel option for that platform. If you do not have that tool, this is not a general-purpose wire spool.

This pack includes 32 steel tie wire reels, so it is set up for contractors, concrete crews, ironworkers, and anyone buying consumables in working quantities instead of one reel at a time. It makes the most sense for users doing regular tying work where downtime and resupply can slow the whole crew. If you are only doing occasional tying, a smaller consumable buy may be enough. If you are tying rebar all day, this 32-pack is the practical way to stock the truck or gang box.
