Fast Blade Refresh When the cutting edge wears out, you replace the blades instead of the whole stripper. That keeps your Tajima VARIX system working the way it should without buying another tool. Complete Replacement Set This set includes the parts needed for a proper blade change: one straight blade, one serrated blade, two blade adapters, and four screws. Made for VARIX These replacement blades are built for the VARIX EZ cable stripper platform, so you get the right fit for the matching Tajima stripper instead of trying to make a generic blade work.

Overview

The Tajima VARIX EZ Cable Stripper Blade DK-MC40B is a replacement blade set for the VARIX EZ cable stripper system. This is a cable stripper blade set designed for restoring cutting performance on a compatible Tajima cable stripping tool. Model Number: DK-MC40B. If your existing stripper body is still good but the cutting edges have seen enough work, this is the part that gets it back into service.

What matters here is that this is not just a loose blade tossed in a bag. The DK-MC40B set is packaged as a complete replacement set with one straight blade, one serrated blade, two blade adapters, and four screws. That makes the swap more straightforward because the small hardware is already included. For electricians and cable installers, that means less downtime when the original blades are worn or damaged.

Tajima also keeps this simple by making the part specific to its VARIX system. Instead of guessing at fitment or trying to modify a generic cutting insert, you are replacing the working parts with the proper OEM pieces. That is important on a cable stripper because blade alignment and fit affect how cleanly the jacket is cut and how predictable the tool feels in your hand.

The included blade pair uses two different cutting profiles, with a straight blade and a serrated blade in the set. That gives the tool the intended cutting setup from the factory rather than forcing you to reuse a worn edge. If you rely on a cable stripper for repeated jacket removal, keeping fresh blades in the tool helps maintain cleaner cuts and better control.

This replacement set is also a lightweight part to keep on hand in a pouch, gang box, or service vehicle. At about 0.05 lbs, it is easy to stock as a spare without taking up room. Since it is made in Japan, it fits the expectation many users already have for Tajima hand tool parts: purpose-built components, clean fit, and no extra fluff.

This is the right buy for anyone already using the compatible Tajima VARIX cable stripper and wanting to keep that tool in rotation. If you are a pro electrician, low-voltage installer, maintenance tech, or serious DIY user who would rather replace wear parts than replace the whole tool, the Tajima VARIX EZ Cable Stripper Blade DK-MC40B makes sense.

Restore Cutting Performance

When a cable stripper starts feeling rough or inconsistent, worn blades are usually the problem. This set replaces the working cutting parts so the tool can get back to clean, controlled jacket stripping.

• Includes both a straight blade and a serrated blade
• Hardware is included so you are not hunting for matching screws during the swap

Keep the Right Parts on Hand
