Overview

The Milwaukee M18 Redlithium XC 5.0Ah Extended Capacity 2-Pack Batteries + 13-Piece Bit Set is a cordless battery and bit set built for Milwaukee M18 users who want more runtime and a small, useful fastening kit in one purchase. This is a battery kit designed for powering M18 cordless tools and handling common fastening jobs. Model number 48-11-1852-48-32-4035. For contractors, maintenance crews, and serious DIY users already on the M18 platform, the big value here is simple: two 5.0Ah XC batteries plus a compact bit set that covers everyday screwdriving tasks.

The battery side of this kit is what matters most. Milwaukee's XC 5.0 design gives you extended capacity compared with smaller packs, which means longer runtime on drills, impact drivers, saws, and other M18 cordless tools. It also has REDLINK Intelligence, which is Milwaukee's built-in communication between tool, battery, and charger to help optimize performance and provide overload protection. In plain terms, that helps the battery work smarter under load and adds a layer of protection when the job gets demanding.

These packs are also built for real jobsite use. The onboard fuel gauge lets you check remaining charge without guessing, which is one of those features you stop noticing only because it saves time all day long. The all-weather performance claim matters too, especially if your tools live in the truck, trailer, or garage and still need to work when conditions are less than ideal. Best-in-class construction and long-lasting durability are part of the package, so this is not just about capacity on paper. It is about batteries that are meant to hold up to repeated use.

The included 13-piece bit set turns this from a straight battery purchase into a more complete jobsite bundle. You get a compact magnetic bit holder and a spread of 1 inch insert bits for Phillips, square, Torx, and slotted fasteners. That mix makes sense for punch-list work, cabinet installs, electrical trim-out, general repairs, and assembly tasks where you want a few common bits organized in a small case instead of digging through a larger organizer.

Platform compatibility is another strong point. These batteries power more than 60 Milwaukee M18 cordless power tools. That makes this kit especially useful for anyone already invested in Milwaukee's 18V cordless system. If your daily setup includes multiple M18 tools, a second pair of XC 5.0Ah batteries can keep your rotation moving, and the bit set can stay in the bag or truck for quick fastening work.

As a package, this product makes the most sense for users who already own M18 tools and want a reliable battery upgrade rather than a new platform. It is a good fit for general contractors, remodelers, electricians, facility maintenance teams, and homeowners with a growing Milwaukee cordless setup. If you need bare tools powered, longer runtime on the job, and a compact assortment of driver bits that actually gets used, this kit is a practical buy.
