Overview

The Diablo 1 in. Drive Bit Short Magnetic Sleeve (model DSCMSS) is built for pros and serious DIYers. This is a magnetic bit sleeve designed to hold screws securely on 1 in. insert bits in drills and impact drivers.

Dropped screws and wobbly starts slow you down, especially overhead or at arm's length. This magnetic sleeve slides over a 1 in. insert bit in a bit holder and adds strong magnetism right at the tip, so the screw stays put and lines up straight.

That makes one-handed starts possible, which matters on a ladder, inside a cabinet or anywhere you need your other hand to hold the work. It installs and removes in seconds.

Useful for every trade that drives screws, from framing and decking to cabinet and electrical work.

The Diablo 1 in. Drive Bit Short Magnetic Sleeve: Cheap Fix for Dropped Screws

A magnetic sleeve is one of the cheapest upgrades you can make to a bit setup.

• Who it's for: Anyone who drives screws overhead or one-handed.
• Why it stands out: Strong magnet at the tip and quick install.
• Worth knowing: Wipe off metal shavings now and then so screws seat flat against the bit.
