Two 6.0Ah Batteries This DeWALT 20V MAX battery 2-pack gives you two full-size 6.0Ah packs, so one can charge while the other keeps your tool running. Double the Standard Runtime Each pack holds twice the capacity of the standard DCB200 battery and three times the compact DCB203, which means fewer trips to the charger on long cuts and heavy drilling. 3-LED Fuel Gauge Press the button on the pack and see remaining charge at a glance, so you know which battery to grab before you climb the ladder.

Overview

The DeWALT DCB206 20V MAX Premium 6.0Ah Battery 2-Pack (model DCB206-2x) includes two DCB206 lithium-ion battery packs for DeWALT 20V MAX cordless tools. This is a cordless tool battery pack set designed for extended runtime on high-demand tools like circular saws, grinders, rotary hammers, and impact wrenches. Buying two at once means you always have a charged pack ready while the other one is on the charger.

Each DCB206 stores 6.0 amp hours of energy. That is twice the capacity of the standard DCB200 battery pack and three times the capacity of the compact DCB203. In practical terms, a 6.0Ah pack keeps a saw or grinder working through a full run of cuts instead of dying halfway through, and it gives high-draw tools the reserve they need to hold speed under load.

The battery uses lithium-ion cells with no memory effect and virtually no self-discharge. You can top off a half-used pack without hurting its capacity, and a charged pack left in the truck or on the shelf stays ready to work instead of slowly draining. A built-in 3-LED fuel gauge shows the state of charge with the press of a button, so you can check both packs before you head out.

Charging is quick for a pack this size. On the DeWALT DCB118 fast charger, a DCB206 recharges in about one hour. With two packs in rotation, that one-hour window is usually shorter than the time it takes to drain the other battery, which makes continuous work realistic on a full jobsite day.

These batteries are part of the DeWALT 20V MAX system. They fit every DeWALT 20V MAX tool and work with DeWALT 20V MAX chargers, so they slot straight into a kit you already own. 20V MAX refers to the maximum initial voltage with no load; the nominal voltage is 18V.

This 2-pack makes sense for contractors, remodelers, and serious DIYers who run DeWALT 20V MAX tools all day, anyone moving up from 2.0Ah or 3.0Ah packs that run out too fast, and crews who share batteries between several tools. Charger not included.

Check Your Charge Before You Start

Nothing kills momentum like a dead battery halfway through a cut. The on-board fuel gauge tells you where each pack stands before you commit to the job.

• 3-LED state-of-charge indicator on each battery
• No memory effect, so topping off a partly used pack is fine
• Virtually no self-discharge while the pack sits between jobs

Fits Every DeWALT 20V MAX Tool

The DCB206 slides onto any DeWALT 20V MAX tool, from drills and impact drivers to saws and grinders. Two packs let you keep more of your tools ready to go.

• Compatible with DeWALT 20V MAX tools and chargers
• About 1 hour to recharge on the DCB118 fast charger
