Overview

The DEWALT 20V MAX cordless grease gun (tool only), Model DCGG571B, is built for mechanics, equipment owners, and maintenance crews who need faster lubrication without dragging around an air hose or fighting a manual lever gun. This is a cordless grease gun designed for high-flow lubrication and servicing grease fittings. If you service trucks, trailers, farm equipment, shop machinery, or heavy equipment, this tool is made to cut down the effort it takes to keep everything greased and moving.

The big reason people buy this model is simple: it combines pressure and flow in one tool. DEWALT rates it at up to 10,000 max PSI, which matters when you run into stubborn or partially clogged fittings, and the pump can deliver up to 5.0 oz per minute for high-flow applications. In plain terms, it can push grease where cheaper tools stall out, and it does it fast enough that routine maintenance is less of a chore.

Control is just as important as raw output, and DEWALT got that part right with a variable speed trigger. Instead of dumping grease too aggressively, you can meter the flow based on the fitting and the job in front of you. That helps when you are working around seals, tight clearances, or fittings where over-greasing just creates cleanup. The built-in bright LED light is also a real jobsite feature, not filler. When fittings are tucked under a chassis, behind a spindle, or inside a dark machine bay, being able to actually see what you are doing saves time.

Reach and serviceability are another strong point here. The 42 inch flexible hose lets you work into hard-to-access spots without contorting the whole tool into place. DEWALT also includes a pump filter screen to help keep dirt and contamination from clogging the mechanism, which matters on equipment maintenance where grease, dust, and grime are all part of the job. An air-bleeder valve helps with pump priming after cartridge changes, so you spend less time getting the gun back up and running.

From a jobsite practicality standpoint, this is clearly designed by people who understand shop and field use. The integrated no-mar foot lets you rest the tool on a flat surface without it wanting to roll around or beat up the material under it. Because it runs on the DEWALT 20V MAX battery platform, it makes the most sense for users already invested in that system. This DCGG571B is a tool-only configuration, so the battery and charger are sold separately.

Who should buy it? Anyone doing regular equipment lubrication where speed, reach, and cleaner control matter more than saving a few bucks on a manual gun. It is a strong fit for automotive service, fleet maintenance, agricultural equipment upkeep, industrial maintenance, and serious DIY equipment owners. If you already use DEWALT 20V MAX tools and want a grease gun that feels like a real upgrade instead of a novelty, this is the one to look at.

Reach Fittings Without Fighting the Tool

The layout of this grease gun is built around real service work. The long flexible hose gives you room to reach the fitting while keeping the body of the tool out where you can hold it comfortably and control the trigger.

• 42 inch flexible hose for hard-to-access grease fittings
• Bright LED light helps locate fittings in dark work areas
• No-mar foot lets the tool rest more securely on flat surfaces

Pro Tip

When you change cartridges, use the air-bleeder valve right away instead of squeezing the trigger and hoping it primes itself. It is a small step, but it gets grease flowing faster and saves wear on the pump when air is trapped in the system.
